In the Middle of Winter

wintersunrise

Today I’ll be preparing for my first class in over a year of classes.  I’m both delighted and honestly, a bit nervous to start my journey.   Being certain that I’m on the right path is soothing my nerves.  I’ll definitely be tapping into my own invincible summer as I walk through the doors tonight.

For the first time in over a decade I’ll be a student and I’m very much looking forward to where my education takes me.

Any guesses as to what I’ll be studying before I make the big reveal tomorrow?

Congratulations on the new journey! I just finished up a new degree last month, and it was exciting! I will say, college was easier the second time around, (I earned a bachelor’s degree right out of high school) probably due to maturity and a better idea about where I wanted to be.

    • Thank you Jenn! I’m certain that once I get in the swing of things that I’ll be able to see this through. My biggest concern is getting myself to walk in the door tonight. Sometimes those first steps are nerve wracking.

Congratulations to you on finishing your most recent degree! What did you study?

Walking through the door is the easy part. You’ll do great! I was surprised at the number of “older students” in all of my classes.

I now have a paralegal studies degree (one earned at an actual college, in a building, not one of those online ones), on top of my communications/political science degree. The two meshed very well.
